When alighting from the bus and with the terminal in front\, turn left and head towards the Fastrack and Meet and Greet car parks. The old control tower should be clearly visible. Turn right to walk round the Meet and Greet car park and by Aviation House to access the entrance to the old control tower. \nComing by car – use the Long Stay Car Park: \nOur postcode is L24 1YD and sat nav’s should guide you to the airport terminal\, entering the site along Speke Hall Avenue. When approaching the airport look for the green Long Stay Car Park signs\, which guide drivers to use the left hand lane\, then turning left at the roundabout heading towards the airport terminal. Keep bearing left and enter the Long Stay Car Park. Drive through the car park and head towards the signposted ‘Additional Parking’ and Parking Zones F-K\, driving along the underpass and park in any available space in Zones F -K. The old control tower is clearly visible and a short walk from the car park. DESCRIPTION:FREE ADR Awareness Course!\n📅 Thursday 31st July\n🕤 09:30 – 15:30\n📌 Heywood\, Lancashire\nJoin our exclusive ADR Awareness Course for YFN members! \nItal Logistics is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary and to celebrate\, seven lucky YFN members are invited to attend a FREE ADR Awareness training course! \nDangerous goods is a big part of Ital’s business\, and they employ their own Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) and provide training courses for other BIFA members. \nCourse content includes:\n✅ Laws and legislation – why everyone involved in the carriage of dangerous goods should have awareness training\n✅ The difference between Dangerous and Hazardous\n✅ Safety data sheets\n✅ Classes and packing groups\n✅ Exemptions for low quantity loads and limited quantities\n✅ Types of packaging – How to mark and label these\n✅ Documentation – how to raise these with correct information \nThis is an interactive and hands on course and attendees will have plenty of opportunity to practice marking and labelling packaging along with raising dangerous goods notes 📦 \nSpaces will be booked on a first come first served basis. To ensure fairness to all BIFA YFN members\, only one place per company is permitted. However\, if a second person from the same company would like to attend\, they will be added to the waiting list and contacted if a space becomes available. Line manager approval is required to minimise any last-minute cancellations and no-shows. \nThis event is now fully booked. Please email Carl Hobbis on c.hobbis@BIFA.org to be added to the waitlist.
