SUMMARY:BIFA YFN - Breakfast Networking & BIFA Bitesize
DESCRIPTION:Join BIFA Trainer\, Liz Sumner\, on a breakfast networking event where will explore Incoterms and what they mean for businesses trading internationally. \nIncoterms are globally recognised rules that define the responsibilities of buyers and sellers in international trade. They clarify who is responsible for transport\, insurance\, customs clearance\, risk\, and costs at each stage of a shipment. Using the correct Incoterm helps prevent misunderstandings\, reduces risk\, and ensures smoother cross-border transactions. \nDuring this session\, we will cover:\n• A detailed explanation of all 11 Incoterms and how each one operates in practice\n• Identification of which Incoterms are mode-specific and which can be used across all modes of transport\n• Key differences between the various Incoterms and how they impact cost\, risk\, and responsibility\n• How risk transfers between buyer and seller\n• How Incoterms help with customs valuation \nWhether you’re new to Freight Forwarding or looking to refresh your knowledge\, this session will provide valuable\, practical insights. \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION\n• Numbers are restricted to 12 people\n• Free parking will be provided \nTo book your spot\, click HERE
