DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to have for our first LHR YFN event of autumn\, the current chair of the United Kingdom Air Cargo Club (UKACC)\, Dee Morris as our guest speaker.  \nDee will give a short insight into her career in air cargo\, what she has learned over 16 years.  \nIn 2022 she was appointed as chair of the United Kingdom Air Cargo Club (UKACC) and one of her ambitions is to get more young people involved and help shape its sustainable future. This YFN event is a great opportunity to hear from an industry leader and find out how you can get involved in UKACC’s future.  \nAs always\, we will give an update on BIFA and YFN activities and afterwards\, the networking will continue over to bowling – which is optional – across the road from our offices\, which will be free of charge\, and will include food and drink. \nIf you would like to book a space\, please book through Eventbrite here.

The charity’s road safety work focuses on influencing safe driver behaviour with long-term programmes in Ghana\, Tanzania\, Uganda and Zambia. Transaid’s partner-led approach responds to local needs for improved training for drivers and riders of trucks\, buses\, motorcycles and forklift trucks. \nOn the access to health side\, Transaid works with local partners and communities to strengthen access to health services\, primarily in rural areas.
