DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a large container port? \nInvite one of your young colleagues to join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of DP World London Gateway – the UK’s most advanced port and integrated logistics hub. \nLondon Gateway’s highly productive deep-water berths are built to handle the world’s largest vessels and its state-of-the-art technology means that it can do this in the safest\, most reliable and efficient way. \nThis three-hour interactive session will cover all aspects of landside and ship-side activity\, including an outside terminal port tour to see container ships\, trucks and rail freight in operation. \nIn addition to exploring the operational element\, delegates will also leave with an appreciation of the investment taking place in an ever-changing marketplace as ships get bigger and bigger. \nThere will be an opportunity for delegates to field questions and take part in some interactive learning as well. \nAGENDA \n10:45 – 11:00  Arrive at reception\, registration \n11:00 – 11.10  Welcome\, introductions and networking \n11.10 – 11.40   DP World London Gateway overview \n11.40 – 13.30   Outside port tour landside/shipside \n13.30 – 13.45   Return to terminal \n13.45 – 14.15   Buffet lunch \n14.15 – 14.30   Question and answer session \nIMPORTANT INFORMATION \n\nNumbers are restricted to 30\, so only register if you know you can make it.\nYou must bring valid photo ID for access to the port.
