SUMMARY:BIFA Regional Members Meeting - Heathrow
DESCRIPTION:The meeting will be chaired by BIFA Regional Representative Paul Cunningham and attended by other relevant BIFA personnel. \nMembers will get information on BIFA activity with HM Revenue and Customs and other Governmental/regulatory bodies at national level. \nGuest speakers for this meeting: \nAndy Cooke\, BIFA External Affairs Consultant is leading our involvement in the Heathrow Cargo Estate Re-development Project. He will cover two key areas: \n\nAn update on how the BIFA Advisory Body Working Group will engage and represent the interests our members\nA short\, structured session of discussion and member feedback to identify the main challenges for each of the key stakeholders in the Landside Congestion Project. The initial questions we seek to address will be sent out before the meeting\, so members have time to prepare their views.\n\nKelly Hobson\, vice chair of the BIFA Sustainable Logistics Policy Group\, will present and discuss the business case justification for freight forwarders to develop a credible and compliant sustainability strategy. \nJosh Finch TT Club Logistics Risk Manger will present latest data and responses on Freight Crime and Damage. \nBorder Force Heathrow will be in attendance.
