DESCRIPTION:The shortlist of finalists for all categories for the BIFA Freight Service Awards 2024 has been announced\, view the companies and individuals vying for the 11 sponsor trophies here. \nThe winners will be revealed at the BIFA Freight Service Awards 2024 ceremony luncheon on Thursday 16 January 2025 at The Brewery\, central London. \nBIFA has secured ex-Olympian James Cracknell OBE to host the ceremony and present certificates and trophies. \nSince retiring from competitive rowing in 2006\, James has completed many dangerous and gruelling challenges for the BBC and Discovery and has used his passion for adventure and fitness to front successful campaigns to get the nation moving. \nJames completed ‘The Race Across the Atlantic’ with the experience documented in the BBC show ‘Through Hell and High Water’\, which was followed by a successful book about the race\, titled ‘The Crossing:  Conquering the Atlantic in the World’s Toughest Rowing Race’. \n \n  \nProgramme for the day: \n\npre-luncheon drinks reception\nwelcome\npresentation of finalists’ certificates by host\nluncheon service\nhost’s speech\nannouncement of winners and presentation of trophies by category sponsor and host\nTransaid raffle\npost-luncheon drinks\nceremony end\n\nTickets are available to book now.
