DESCRIPTION:Members will receive information on BIFA activity with HM Revenue and Customs and other Governmental/regulatory bodies at national level. The meeting may include a presentation or representation from such external bodies. \nThe meeting will also include updates on other key areas of local activity. \nAttendees will have an opportunity for a two-way dialogue between members and the Association and to raise issues of concern or interest. \nAgenda for the day: \n\nIntroductions – BIFA Team\nCompetition Statement – Speaker Paul Cunningham\nMinutes of meeting of 16th November 2023 and matters arising – Speaker Paul Cunningham\nIATA/FIATA\, aviation security\, ICS2 – Speaker David Stroud\nUpdate on the formation of the Heathrow Airport working group which will influence the future development of the Cargo Terminal – Speaker David Stroud\nUpdate from National Highways on key road developments impacting traffic flows around Heathrow – Speakers Thomas Beasley and Richard Gibbs\nBIFA Customs updates and Q&A session with our Policy Advisors. Topics will include CDS Exports\, non inventory / inventory linked\, MUCR requirements\, NES changes\, go live deadlines\, NCTS5\, BTOMS – Speakers Pawel Jarza and Igor Popovics\nLegal Policy Group update including Representation and Establishment.
