BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Kent & East Sussex
Join us for updates and discussions about the key issues impacting your business and share your views with fellow members and the BIFA team.
We will also be joined by our line-up of guest speakers to give you external updates on a range of industry hot topics.
External guest speakers will be:
- Richard Steeples from Border Force’s freight engagement and data acquisition team will be delivering an update on Safety & Security and GVMS.
- Emma Johnson and Lee Stamps from Border Force, Rebecca Stevens from HMRC, Adrian Jones from DEFRA and Liam Flannery from Ashford Port Health will deliver a presentation on the operating procedures at the Sevington Border Facility.
- Beverley Edmondson from Dover Port Health will also provide a local update.
- Doug Bannister, CEO of the Dover Harbour Board will be delivering an update on port operations and future developments.
- Completing our line up will be Matthew Grigor from Eurotunnel. Matthew will be sharing insights following the implementation of the EU Entry Exit system on the 12th October.
