BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Northern Ireland

Join us and our external guest speakers for updates on the key local and national issues that are impacting your business. This meeting is a great opportunity for you to share your views on these topics with fellow members and the BIFA team.

 

External Speaker Topics

Kevin Shakespeare from The Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade & Joe Benucci from Netcompany will be speaking around strengthening the freight and logistics sector through skills development and innovation.

Kevin will cover education, training, and professional standards, highlighting how BIFA members can build expertise and address industry skills gaps.

Joe will focus on digital transformation, particularly the opportunities for AI to improve efficiency and operations in freight. As Netcompany has now been selected by HMRC to implement and operate the next phase of the Trader Support Service (TSS), Joe can provide an insight on the next steps.

Claire Sullivan from the Confederation of British Industry will share with us the latest insights from some of the most important stakeholder engagements the CBI is currently having. This includes sessions that BIFA has also participated in
