BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Solent
Joining us at the meeting will provide you with the latest updates and discussions on the key issues impacting your business. We will also be joined by outstanding guest speakers to provide you with updates on various industry topics.
Throughout the meeting, you will also have the opportunity to share your views and ask our guest speakers and the BIFA team your burning questions.

The re-development of the Heathrow cargo facilities will have a major impact on UK logistics and members. We are therefore delighted to have:
➔ Andy Cooke, BIFA’s External Affairs Consultant, who is leading our involvement in the re-development project. During his session, he will cover two key areas:
> The latest update from BIFA’s Air Cargo Community Advisory Body including the selection of CCS-UK AIS as the preferred landside slot booking system
> Member feedback session to identify the main challenges for each stakeholder in the project
➔ Mark Bellis, BT’s Head of Strategy and Product Development, and Claudia Carley, Product and Customs, will present their update on:
> How the AIS system currently works
> The plans to add functionality to optimise landside movements for imports and exports
> The implications and benefits of using AIS
BIFA’s collaboration with the South Hampshire College Group continues to grow so we are pleased to welcome back:
➔ Steve Harris, Group Head of Planning & operations to provide an update on the collaboration with BIFA and details of subsidised courses available for BIFA members
