The shipping of pharmaceutical products requires additional care and attention to detail to safeguard product integrity. For this BIFA virtual YFN we will be joined by Andy Hughes, Senior Director Life Sciences UK & NL at AIT Worldwide Logistics (UK) Ltd.
From security measures, packaging, temperature control and continuous monitoring, the handling of pharma products is a specialised and time-critical business. Andy has spent the past 22 years in this field, having helped establish specialist forwarder Pharmafreight in 2003. Pharmafreight was acquired by AIT Worldwide USA in December 2023.
