BIFA Regional Members Meeting – Avonmouth

The meeting will be chaired by BIFA Regional Representative Paul Cunningham and attended by other relevant BIFA personnel.

Members will get information on BIFA activity with HM Revenue and Customs and other Governmental/regulatory bodies at national level.

Guest Speakers:

*JUST ADDED* Robert Windsor, BIFA’s Senior Policy Advisor, is leading a major review of the STCs and will update you on the main changes being considered and when members can expect a release.

Kelly Hobson, vice chair of the BIFA Sustainable Logistics Policy Group, will present and discuss the business case justification for freight forwarders to develop a credible and compliant sustainability strategy.

Andy Cooke, BIFA’s External Affairs Consultant, will be leading our involvement in the Heathrow Cargo Re-development Project. Andy will update the meeting on how the BIFA Advisory Body Working Group will engage and represent the interests our members.
